We are hiring Resident Medical Officer for our ICU & Wards team!

If you have more than 4 years of experience working in ICU or in Anaesthesiology, you are welcome to apply!

What's the job like?

• Oversee care of critically ill neonates, pediatric and / or adult patients, under diverse range of post – operative and emergency admission, in critical care unit and other inpatient wards.
• Assists in management of unstable patients in other inpatient areas eg. post major operations, fresh transferred out from critical care units, carry procedures and discharges where consultant is not able to attend in time eg: catheterization / difficult NGT insertion.
• Attend / assess verbal orders eg. sedation at night or radiology investigate, setting lines or taking blood samples and attending to Code for patients in timely manner. 

Who are we looking for?

• Posses Medical Degree and registered with Malaysian Medical Council (MMC)
• Valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
• Attended/trainers in life support courses: ACLS / ALS, ATLS / MTLS,  PALS / APLS, BLS, NRP and other relevant courses related to emergency care or intensive care.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Intensive Care Unit, acute care and ward management.
• Possess skills on all the procedures (IV line setting, arterial line, airway management, blood taking, catheterization).
• Able to understand technical issues in medical field.
• Excellent communications skills, compassion.
• Ability to work long hours, often under pressure.
• Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Role model professionalism through conduct, appearance, communication, mutual respect, leadership, ethical decision making, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
