Lowongan Kerja Posisi STAFF NURSE di International Specialist Eye Centre ISEC

DESKRIPSI LOWONGAN KERJA

We are looking for Staff Nurses for OT, Daycare, Treatment Room & Lasik

1. Ensure all patients are given safe and high-quality perioperative care.              
2. Act as a scrub or circulating nurse during patient’s surgery and ensure all OT procedures are strictly adhered to e.g. time-out procedure.
3. Practice high standard of aseptic technique, observe and implement Infection Prevention and Control SOP.
4. Ensure all medical equipment is in good working conditions and report if they are faulty to the superior.
5. Ensure that sterilization of all surgical instruments follows the correct sterilization guidelines and their storage and usage as per the organization's SOP.
6. Able to apply 8R principles of medication when serving or administrating medication and injection to patients.
7. Ensure that the resuscitation trolley is sufficiently stocked, all drugs are within the expiry date and the defibrillator is working and battery charged.
8. Maintained up-to-date and accurate inventory of all consumable items, drugs, equipment, and instruments in the department.
9. To inform the Superior of all incidents/accidents that happened to patients and staff in the department.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Staff Nurse/Medical assistant with or without experience.
2. Fresh graduates will also be considered.
3. Candidates with experience need to fulfill the followings:

• Possess Diploma or its equivalent.
• Post-Basic in Ophthalmic Nursing/Perioperative Nursing or the ability to handle GA machines would be an added advantage for OT Nurses.
• At least 1 year of working experience (not necessarily in the ophthalmology discipline)
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Computer literate.
• Good command of written and verbal communication in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is an advantage. 
• Pleasant, courteous in dealing with patients, doctors, and colleagues, self-motivated, and a team player.
